Three Things You Should Know About Me:
1. I'm A Little Bit of Everything:
I have adopted so many hobbies, it's insane. I love reading, writing, singing, playing guitar, travelling, learning (especially history and biology), flying, photography, painting, sketching, drawing maps, listening to music from rock to pop to country, and I love to do charity work. Just try to tell me that I'm not a little bit into everything. I never really settled on a specific type of person that I wanted to be, like most people find that single things they want to do in life, that thing that drives them. Yeah, I never found that passion. So I chose to do everything I possibly could. I have to say, I'm pretty tired. But maybe I'm meant to have all of them, huh?
2. Even Without a Clear Passion, I Have HUGE Goals:
I bet you hear this every day in high school: "When I graduate, I plan on travelling the world and then getting married, but after college, and having two kids and living happily ever after." That may not be the exact wording, but to some extent, you probably hear this at some point, from someone. And I'm here to tell you that that's exactly what I plan to do.
No, it isn't. I plan on going to college at Ferris State, where I'll double major in Pre-med Biology and History, with a minor in Mathematics. From there, I want to go to Michigan State's Medical School in Grand Rapids. When I get so much debt that I'll be drowning in paperwork, it's time for several months of vacation. Not really. After Med School, I plan on travelling the world through several charity work egencies which will pay for my travel in exchange for volunteer work. And then, finally, I'll get a job at a hospital and start working on my fellowships and residencies to become a surgeon. Woo-hoo for me, my pland DOES NOT, repeat, DOES NOT, involve marriage or children.
3. I Believe That a Mix of Your Past, Present and Future, Determines Who You Are Now:
My past was not the easiest one, despite what people may think. I struggled with tough depression for over two years, and live with anxiety attacks and PTSD now. But it's not just my past that tells you who I am now. It's my current situation, job, likes, dislikes, friends, and plans for the future. More than anything else, I want you to take away from this website that you should not judge someone for their past experiences, but rather the combination of their past actions and present actions.
